Islamische Gemeinschaft für Bildung und Soziales e.V. (IGBS)
is based on the small footsteps of existing social, philanthropic, and charity work
carried out by the Muslim brothers from the Bangladeshi community in Hamburg, Germany
in order to inspire faith-driven activities such as
— facilitating social work —
— supporting disadvantaged people —
— encouraging moral teachings and spreading religious values for self-development —
— strengthening brotherhood by virtue of collaboration, cooperation and mutual sharing of social responsibilities —
[O Muhammad], tell My servants who have believed to establish prayer
and spend from what We have provided them,
secretly and publicly, before a Day comes
in which there will be no exchange, nor any friendships.
Ibrahim 31

Warmth and Support
Flooding and winter days are difficult.
Dry food and winter clothes are not difficult to arrange.
The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah
is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains.
And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills.
And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.
Al Baqarah 261
